AUDIOVISUAL WOMEN & SERIES’ WOMEN Wrap Up 2025/2026

29. April 2026 –

 Editions with Joint Workshop

By the end of April, EPI’s international female leadership programmes, AUDIOVISUAL WOMEN and SERIES’ WOMEN 2025/2026 editions, were brought to a successful close with a joint online module on modern gender equality and diversity management as well as contemporary approaches to performance management and people development.

By supporting female producers and executives, the programmes aim to increase the visibility and exposure of female professionals and female-driven projects, support the building of professional networks, tackle the ongoing underrepresentation of women in the industry, while fostering inclusive corporate cultures and cross-border collaboration. We are thrilled to have accompanied such a remarkable and inspiring group of women!

In the 2025/2026 edition of AUDIOVISUAL WOMEN, 15 female managers from 14 different countries were selected. The programme is designed for female executives in mid- and senior-level management positions in the audiovisual sector and offers a highly interdisciplinary approach to professional and personal development. Bringing together professionals from across film, television, digital media, as well as institutions, film festivals, and funding bodies, the programme promotes exchange across sectors and creates valuable synergies within the European audiovisual landscape. Through two residential workshops in Berlin and Munich and online modules, participants engaged intensively with topics such as communication, leadership, entrepreneurship, change and innovation management, while building a strong European network of female managers.

In the 2025/2026 edition of SERIES’ WOMEN, 15 female producers from 11 European countries participated in the international career enhancement programme for creators of European drama series. A key focus of the programme is on European co-productions and market access, equipping participants with the tools to connect with investors and industry decision-makers. Considering the ongoing transformation of the TV sector, the programme emphasizes innovative approaches to series development, market analysis, and financing strategies. During the residential workshops, participants attended two major industry events — the TV Drama Vision at the Göteborg Film Festival and the Series Mania Forum in Lille — gaining valuable insights and expanding international networks.

Both international programmes will return in late spring this year with new editions. More information on AUDIOVISUAL WOMEN is available here and on SERIES’ WOMEN here.
