The Erich Pommer Institut (EPI) is one of the leading providers of professional training in the German and European media landscape and an independent think tank.
EPI was founded in 1998, and is a non-profit limited liability company by the Film University Babelsberg KONRAD WOLF and the University of Potsdam. As an affiliated institute of the Film University, the EPI acts as a central link between the audiovisual industry, academia and research. This allows us to quickly identify current developments in the media business as well as challenges in the digital world.
We have made it our mission to offer programs that meet those challenges and accompany media professionals in their next career steps. Top-class conferences deal with current tasks in the audiovisual industry and create an open dialog with international experts. In addition to producing independent studies and expert reports, EPI provides consulting services to companies, associations and institutions.
