Applications for career enhancement program are open until September 16
The EPI is excited to announce the launch of the application phase for the fourth edition of SERIES' WOMEN, a groundbreaking career enhancement program designed specifically for female producers in the European drama series industry. Building on the success of its inaugural run in 2021, this program continues to uphold diversity, visibility, and career advancement for women in the media sector.
Starting in late 2024, the fourth edition of SERIES' WOMEN will offer an array of training and development opportunities. Participants will engage in advanced training sessions covering crucial topics such as visibility, leadership, and digital entrepreneurship. Additionally, they will benefit from personalized mentoring and pitching coaching, tailored to help them navigate and excel in the competitive industry landscape.
One of the highlights of the program is the chance to network with leading figures at top European industry markets: The participants will be attending TV Drama Vision 2025 in Gothenburg and Series Mania Forum 2025 in Lille. This direct access to key decision-makers and industry leaders is invaluable for building professional relationships and advancing individual careers.
SERIES' WOMEN is dedicated to enhancing the visibility and influence of female producers and female-driven projects within the industry. Another distinctive feature of the SERIES' WOMEN program is its focus on organizational change through a diversity training module. This training is aimed at hiring managers and decision-makers within the participants' companies, emphasizing the importance of gender equality and diversity at the corporate level. By fostering an inclusive work environment, SERIES' WOMEN aims to drive sustainable change, making companies more competitive and forward-thinking.
Female producers are invited to apply until September 16, 2024. At a free and non-binding Online Info Session on June 25, interested parties will learn everything about the program's process, receive tips for applying, and an overview of financing options. At the end of the event, there will be time for all open questions. Additional online sessions will take place throughout the summer.
We thank our funder, Creative Europe – MEDIA, our event partner Series Mania Forum, as well as our partners, the European Audiovisual Entrepreneurs (EAVE), European Women's Audiovisual Network (EWA), Fís Éireann/Screen Ireland, FOCAL, Göteborg Film Festival, Kulturakademin and Vlaams Audiovisueel Fonds (VAF), for their support. Additional partners will be confirmed soon.
