“We are delighted to launch TAP 2015 with the extended focus on TV drama projects in addition to narrative feature films. Once more, TAP shows that it is innovative and deeply rooted in the industry, serving its demands and incorporating current developments. I want to thank our Co-Presenting Partner CMPA for their continued commitment and fruitful collaboration”, says Nadja Radojevic, EPI’s Director of Training and interim CEO.

”Producers globally are inevitably moving more fluidly between feature film and dramatic TV content. We are very happy that TAP 2015 will directly address this in its programming to further accelerate the projects and careers of independent film and TV producers. The success of our TAP alumni speaks for itself. The additional focus on TV projects will ensure TAP’s leadership in training and greatly benefit TAP producers going forward”, adds Jan Miller, TAP Head of Studies.

TAP Alumni include:

Daniel Bekerman, Kanada (Bang Bang Baby – Gewinner Best First Feature TIFF 2014)

Peter Bouckaert, Belgien (Bullhead – Oscar-Nominierung 2012)

Marc-Daniel Dichant, Deutschland (In Darkness – Oscar-Nominierung 2012)

Damon D’Oliveira, Kanada (The Book of Negroes – Mini-Serie 2014)

Karla Stojakova, Tschechische Republik (Corn Island – Gewinner Karlovy Vary 2014)

Ryan Zacharias, USA (I Used to Be Darker – Sundance & Berlin 2013)

TAP producers will also participate as full delegates at the Atlantic Film Festival's Strategic Partners – one of the world's pre-eminent international co-production markets in Halifax, Nova Scotia.

TAP wishes to thank its Industry Partners Telefilm Canada and the Canada Media Fund. TAP was originally created by the Erich Pommer Institut. Applications can be submitted until April 20, 2015 on www.coproduction-training.com.
