Marketing Strategies for the Games Industry

The in-depth workshop Play, Promote, Publish Marketing Strategies for the Games Industry teaches developers from small independent companies as well as game developers from larger companies the necessary marketing and self-marketing skills to successfully place their game ideas on the market.

In three modules, the participants deal intensively with topics such as how to find suitable business models and social media channels, how to plan communication for the release, and how to build a community, pre, during and post-release.

The workshop is funded by Medienboard Berlin-Brandenburg.

Participants will benefit from the experience of leading experts in the gaming industry. Various networking and group collaboration opportunities allow to connect with colleagues and experts. The course extends over all 9 days. Every day is thematically different to the others.
