EPI reveals the 15 producers selected for the fifth edition of its female leadership programme

The Erich Pommer Institut (EPI) is proud to announce the 15 female producers selected to join the fifth edition of SERIES’ WOMEN, its European leadership programme dedicated to strengthening the role of women producers in the international drama series industry.

Representing ten countries across Europe, the selected participants bring together a remarkable diversity of experience, creative perspectives, and production backgrounds. Through SERIES’ WOMEN, they will embark on a year-long journey designed to expand their professional networks, enhance leadership skills, and advance the visibility of female-driven projects within the European market.

This year’s participants are Annie Barclay (Feline Films Ltd., Ireland), Lieselot Belon (le bon film, Belgium), Golda Sophia Bonhoeffer (Ōkami Vision, Germany), Suzan de Swaan (Smarthouse, The Netherlands), Joana Domingues (Caracol Studios, Portugal), Sophya Kallista Frohberg (Letterbox Filmproduktion, Germany), Elina Gedina-Ducena (Mistrus Media, Latvia), Liisa Karpo (Napafilms, Finland), Olivia Kpalété (Studio Zentral, Germany), Franziska Lindner (Saxonia Media, Germany), Tamara Milosevic (Recycled TV AG, Switzerland), Anika Naglmüller (Krutart s.r.o., Czech Republic), Gergana Stankova (Menclips Ltd., Bulgaria), Søs Storm Thøstesen (Freelance Producer, Denmark), and Laura van Wulfften Palthe (Millstreet Films, The Netherlands).

Developed by EPI in close cooperation with acclaimed international mentors and industry experts, the programme combines targeted training sessions with exclusive networking opportunities. Its structure includes interactive online workshops and on-site industry events that focus on leadership, business innovation, and visibility within the European drama landscape. Participants also receive personalised mentoring and project coaching, alongside opportunities to present their work at leading industry markets such as TV Drama Vision in Gothenburg and the Series Mania Forum in Lille.

With SERIES’ WOMEN, we continue to provide a space where female producers can exchange ideas, gain confidence, and grow as leaders in a demanding industry,” says Gabriela Seidel-Hollaender, Project Manager for International Female Leadership Programmes at EPI. “We are honoured to offer this programme for the fifth time and to contribute to a more inclusive and competitive European drama series sector.

SERIES’ WOMEN is supported by Creative Europe – MEDIA, with Series Mania Forum as event partner. The programme is realised in collaboration with FOCAL, Vlaams Audiovisueel Fonds (VAF), Fís Éireann / Screen Ireland, EAVE – European Audiovisual Entrepreneurs, EWA – European Women’s Audiovisual Network, Göteborg Film Festival, Women in Film & Television International (WIFTI), and the European Producers Club (EPC).
