Play, Promote, Publish
The in-depth workshop Play, Promote, Publish – Marketing Strategies for the Games Industry teaches developers from small independent companies as well as game developers from larger companies the necessary marketing and self-marketing skills to successfully place their game ideas on the market.
The participants deal intensively with topics such as how to find suitable business models and social media channels, how to plan communication for the release, and how to build a community, pre, during and post-release.
Participants will benefit from the experience of leading experts in the gaming industry. Various networking and group collaboration opportunities allow to connect with colleagues and experts. The course extends over all 7 days. Every day is thematically different to the others.

This workshop is recognized as an educational event in accordance with § 10 para. 1 sentence 3 of the Berlin Education Time Act / Berliner Bildungszeitgesetz [BiZeitG].
The event will only take place if the number of participants is sufficient to cover the costs. If the number of participants is not reached, EPI has the right to cancel the event up to 2 weeks in advance and, if possible, to postpone it to a later date. The participation fee will be refunded, whereas consequential costs, e.g. travelling expenses, are not reimbursed.
